This island was nicknamed the ‘Flower of the East’ by the Venetians because outside of the cities it's all rolling hills, shores and sunsets.

Find abandoned pirate ships, snorkel with loggerhead tortoises and drink in tavernas on white-washed streets.

Where will I sleep?

Your adults only hotel is tucked away in the sun-soaked corners of Zante. But when you’re ready to swap peace and quiet for something livelier, the island’s neon-lit nightlife is just a 10-minute cab ride away.

Mornings start properly with a free buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, and hot options, plenty to set you up for a day of lazing about. The marble bar is where you’ll probably end up, cocktail in hand, drifting between the lounge’s comfy sofas and the poolside sunbeds.

And if you fancy some beach time, Tsilivi’s sandy stretch is only 5 minutes away on the free shuttle, or about a 20-minute walk if you want to earn your next drink.

What will I do?

Head to the nearby Laganas town for something different. Find the wooden footbridge leading to a romantic tiny island called Cameo.

A short drive in the opposite direction is Callinico winery, family-run and oozing with charm. The views will make you tingle before you even start drinking.

National Marine Park of Zakynthos is a gorg 😍 coastal spot and home to endangered giant turtles and pristine beaches. A boat tour will take you the marine park and Keri Caves for a swim.
